What is the central idea of your concentration?
The central idea of my concentration is to show contrasting sides of humanity through loose, dreamlike faces and more realistic drawings. I portrayed my friends and family through different mediums and styles. How does the work in your concentration demonstrate the exploration of your idea? You may refer to specific images as examples. As my portfolio begins I started with realistic faces with abstract backgrounds or unrealistic faces because those were the two kind of drawings that were most fun for me, especially since I used pictures of friends to inspire me. As my portfolio progressed, however, I started to mixed the two ideas, as shown by (girl with tongue sticking out, painting of boy, watercolor of girl, b&w girl with pink faces in background). |
